ALDABA is part of the XINE-IA project, an innovative initiative developed in A Coruña that uses artificial intelligence and advanced data analysis to improve the prevention and treatment of urinary incontinence in women. Coordinated by Clínica Cobián and carried out in collaboration with Galician technology and research organizations, the project aims to identify behavioural patterns that help anticipate the onset of this condition and support more personalized treatments.XINE-IA addresses a health issue that affects millions of women and, according to specialists, continues to be underdiagnosed and socially normalized.
The platform currently under development will combine clinical information, physical examinations, results from specialized therapies and other indicators to recommend the most appropriate interventions for each patient, enabling more precise, preventive and personalized care. In addition, it will incorporate patients’ real-world experiences throughout treatment(including symptom progression, quality of life and perceived outcomes) and, with their explicit consent, may integrate data from monitoring devices such as smartwatches, activity trackers and connected scales. This will enrich the artificial intelligence models and progressively improve clinical recommendations.
ALDABA reinforces its commitment to healthcare and patient-centered innovation projects. We are the technological partner responsible for the clinical record component, and our challenge is to guarantee data availability and ensure interoperability.”
