INTERLABS are small meetings in which several people in the early stages of their research careers briefly present their work in different fields related to the extra-technical areas of the CITEEC Scientific Agenda, thus promoting knowledge among different groups and the emergence of possible interdisciplinary lines of research.

This edition will feature a variety of thematic approaches. The speakers will be:
Blanca Fernández Amado: “Thermal stability analysis for the construction of salt caverns.” Technical Project Student. Numerical Methods in Engineering Group (GMNI).
Angélica Goya Heredia: “Development of an innovative methodology for the management of diffuse pollution in urban runoff water.” PhD in Civil Engineering. Water and Environment Engineering Group (GEAMA).
Noelia Fernández Rodríguez: “Comparative analysis and structural optimization of different jacket configurations for offshore wind power.” PhD in Civil Engineering. Numerical Methods in Engineering Group (GMNI).

Lucía Valeiro Mata: “Microscopic simulation techniques for modeling traffic, public transport, and mobility: the case of A Coruña.” PhD in Civil Engineering. Railways and Transport Group (FERROTRANS).
The event will be hosted by Virgina Mato Abad, professor at the Faculty of Computer Engineering and Director of the Aldaba WIB Chair, who will also give a presentation on the Chair entitled “Addressing the gender gap in technology careers.”
