Last Friday, June 30, marked the end of the first edition of ALDABA-TIC CAMP, held simultaneously at the Faculty of Computer Science of the University of A Coruña on the Elviña campus and at the School of Computer Engineering of the University of Vigo on the Ourense campus.
This first edition was a success in terms of participation, with 72 children enrolled attending this exciting “Mission to Mars” for five days, a technological and educational adventure that aims to spark an interest in new technologies among young children, which will in turn promote STEM professions. On the last day, diplomas were awarded in recognition of the skills acquired by the young astronauts in robotics, programming, design, and 3D printing.
